Freelance Marketing Support for Small Businesses

In 2024, I decided to go back to freelancing until August when burn out lead me to taking a break from the design world. I soon found myself in a law office, learning new things and enjoying creating art so much more when it’s not a full-time job. I will likely continue freelancing, as I always have, but a break from client demand was much needed.

Communications Officer
In late 2023, I pivoted back to my local community and jumped at this opportunity to be the first Communications Officer for this nonprofit organization. In this role, I created social media strategy, content calendars, as well as the actual post content. I wrote press releases and articles, storytelling about the grant recipients, the projects and businesses that FCFP grants supported and the positive changes that those projects made in our five-county region.

In 2022, I found myself missing the value and atmosphere of working within a creative team. I joined the world of Real Estate Marketing. At MLSListings, I continued Email Marketing efforts to support over 17k realtors, created social media and website content, and worked with partners like Realtor.com, CoreLogic, AlignedShowings and more, as we developed our first Podcast for our network of California realtors.

In late 2017, I decided I was finally ready for something new. In March 2018, I left Sage Age and I joined a husband-and-wife team who bought an existing winery and distillery in Williamsport, PA. I worked diligently for a year to rebrand the business from concept to fruition and every bottle label in between.

At Sage Age, I helped to build 50+ Senior Living Community websites, managed social media for up to 20 communities at once including: daily posting, paid ads, content calendars and strategy and then also moved into Email Marketing, programming and sending up to a dozen branded emails per day.
